Qantas to Fly Directly From Sydney to London by 2027

Qantas will fly directly from Sydney to London starting October 2027—a 17,000-kilometre journey taking roughly 20 hours. Right now, flights from Australia to Europe always stop somewhere in between. This new route will be the world's longest non-stop flight, using specially designed planes with extra fuel tanks and more comfortable cabins for the very long journey.
