Oxford United pulls 'United 93' shirt after brief launch

Oxford United withdrew its Campus Collection about two hours after launching it on 18 September. The range, delayed from 11 September 2026 over sensitivity concerns, included an NFL-style shirt marked 'United 93' to note the club's 1893 founding. United 93 was the Al-Qaida-hijacked flight that crashed in 2001, killing 44 people. The club apologized.
