Oxford United released ‘United 93’ shirt after delaying launch from 11 September

Oxford United delayed its ‘Campus Collection’ from 11 September 2026 over sensitivity concerns, then launched it on 18 September still including an NFL-style shirt bearing ‘United 93’ for its 1893 founding. United 93 was the Al-Qaida-hijacked flight that crashed in 2001, killing 44 people. The club withdrew the range after about two hours and apologized.
