Manitoba to Stay on Daylight Saving Time Year-Round

Manitoba will stay on daylight saving time permanently and skip the Nov. 1 return to standard time, ending twice-yearly clock changes. Announced Sept. 17, 2026, Premier Wab Kinew said public consultation guided the decision under the Official Time Amendment Act, 2025, which takes effect when formally proclaimed.
