Manitoba to Stop Changing Clocks

Manitoba announced Sept. 17, 2026, it will keep daylight saving time — its summer clocks — all year and will not turn them back on Nov. 1, ending twice-yearly changes. Premier Wab Kinew said the public was consulted. The plan comes from the Official Time Amendment Act, 2025, which starts once officials formally approve it.
