Manitoba to Keep Daylight Saving Time Permanently, Skip Nov. 1 Clock Change
Manitoba announced Sept. 17, 2026, it will remain on daylight saving time permanently and will not revert to standard time Nov. 1, ending twice-yearly clock changes. Premier Wab Kinew said the decision followed public consultation. The change rests on the Official Time Amendment Act, 2025, which takes effect on proclamation.
