MPs to Examine How BBC Chooses UK Eurovision Entry After Last Place

The House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee will review how the BBC picks the UK’s Eurovision act after the 2026 last-place result. Chair Dame Caroline Dinenage wants clarity on who decides and what criteria are used. The UK has placed last six times since 2000. BBC leaders are expected to testify in coming months.
