Commons committee to inquire into UK Eurovision selection after last-place finish

The House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee will examine how the BBC selects the UK's Eurovision entry after the 2026 last-place finish. Chair Dame Caroline Dinenage wants to establish who chooses the entrant and on what basis. The UK has finished last six times since 2000. BBC chiefs are expected to give evidence in coming months.
