Parliament to Ask BBC How It Picks UK Eurovision Singer After Last Place

A group of MPs who oversee culture will examine how the BBC — Britain’s public broadcaster — picks the UK song for Eurovision, Europe’s big song contest, after the 2026 last-place finish. Head Dame Caroline Dinenage wants to know who chooses and why. The UK has finished last six times since 2000. BBC bosses will answer questions in coming months.
