Fatal Shark Bite at Sorrento Beach, North Perth

A man died after a shark bite while swimming off Sorrento Beach in Perth's north on Sept. 18, 2026. Western Australia police said emergency crews were called around 10:30 a.m., with boats and aircraft searching the water nearby. Police confirmed he died from his injuries.
