Man dies after shark bite off Sorrento Beach in Perth

A man died after being bitten by a shark while swimming off Sorrento Beach in Perth's north on Sept. 18, 2026. Western Australia police said emergency services were called about 10:30 a.m. Water and air crews searched the area. Police said he died of his injuries.
