Carney proposes closer Canada-EU work on defence, energy and tech

Prime Minister Mark Carney told the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Sept. 17 that Canada and the EU should work more closely. He proposed joint efforts on secure computer systems, payment networks, arms production, and energy and critical mineral supplies to defend their independence.
