S&P 500 up about 1% in rebound as yields and oil fell

The S&P 500 rose about 1% on Sept. 16, Bloomberg reported, rebounding after its Fed-day drop. The 10-year Treasury yield — the benchmark rate behind mortgages and company borrowing — fell, which pushes bond prices up. Cheaper borrowing can help stocks, but with oil also falling, I'd call this one-day bounce relief, not a trend.
