Calhoun Faces Manslaughter Indictment in Sixth Death

Jesse Calhoun was indicted, or formally charged, with first-degree manslaughter in the death of Elizabeth “Libby” Gibson, prosecutors in Multnomah County announced in the week of September 17, 2026. Gibson, 32, was last seen in Portland in 2022, and her body has not been found. Calhoun already faces second-degree murder charges in five 2022-2023 deaths and has pleaded not guilty.
