Man Charged in Death of a Sixth Woman

Jesse Calhoun was charged with first-degree manslaughter — causing a death — for Elizabeth “Libby” Gibson, Multnomah County prosecutors said in the week of September 17, 2026. Gibson, 32, was last seen in Portland in 2022, and her body has not been found. Calhoun faces second-degree murder charges in five 2022-2023 deaths and says he is not guilty.
