Global Survey: Most Countries Expect AI to Cut More Jobs Than It Creates

34 of 37 countries expect artificial intelligence (AI, computers doing tasks people do) to cut more jobs than it creates over 20 years, Pew Research Center found. It surveyed 42,151 adults from February 8 to May 13. Concern hit 76% in Australia and South Korea and 71% in the US. The report came out September 17, 2026.
