Most Countries Think Smart Computers Will Mean Fewer Jobs

Adults in 34 of 37 countries think computers with artificial intelligence will leave fewer jobs overall in the next 20 years, Pew Research Center found. It asked 42,151 adults between February 8 and May 13. The worry reached 76% in Australia and South Korea and 71% in the US. The report was published September 17, 2026.
