Valor gives investors $8.5 billion in SpaceX stock

Valor Equity Partners gave its limited partners, the investors in its funds, $8.5 billion in SpaceX stock, or 8.5% of its holdings, according to an SEC filing reported by Bloomberg. Rather than sell shares to return cash, it transferred the stock directly. Valor still holds more than 460 million shares.
