Valor Equity Partners distributed 8.5% of its SpaceX holdings, worth about $8.5 billion, directly to limited partners, according to an SEC filing spotted by Bloomberg. The firm transferred stock in kind rather than selling to fund cash returns. Valor retains more than 460 million shares.
