Vegetable growers say supermarket overhaul must include them

NZVeg chief executive Mike Brown says growers must be included in any shake-up of supermarket rules. He said growers face tight margins, meaning little profit on what they sell, and about half are unsure if they will still be operating in 10 years. Without a responsible profit they will close, cutting supply and lifting prices, he said.
