Vegetable growers say supermarket changes could raise prices

Vegetable growers say any changes to supermarket rules must include them. NZVeg head Mike Brown said growers earn very little on what they sell, and about half do not know if they will still be growing in 10 years. If they cannot make a fair profit they will shut down, leaving less food and higher prices, he said.
