Solomon says Canada must build AI at home to keep control

Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon told Montreal's All In AI conference Canada must build more AI at home to keep sovereign control over its systems and data. Otherwise Canada will rent technology from neighbours and follow their rules. He favours partnerships with like-minded countries over isolation.
