Sabotage Suspected in Dutch Train Halt

Trains across central and northern Netherlands, including Amsterdam, stopped the morning of Sept. 15, 2026. Police are investigating suspected sabotage. Infrastructure manager ProRail said pipes and cables deliberately placed at at least 20 locations caused at least 35 signal failures, making the system register tracks as occupied. No injuries were reported.
