Suspected sabotage halted Dutch trains across central and north

Dutch trains across central and northern Netherlands, including Amsterdam, stopped on the morning of Sept. 15, 2026, in suspected sabotage police are investigating. Infrastructure manager ProRail said pipes and cables deliberately placed at at least 20 locations triggered at least 35 signal failures by making the system register tracks as occupied. No injuries were reported.
