Anthropic links 100,000 daily Claude requests to 28 dating scams

Anthropic says one prepaid account sending over 100,000 daily API requests — automated calls to its Claude AI — powered about 28 fraudulent dating apps. Researcher Chris Cronbaugh said autonomous AI personas, software profiles that chat with no person behind them, handled most conversations.
