Walmart and SCAN Team Up on Medicare Advantage

Walmart and nonprofit insurer SCAN Health Plan will jointly sell Medicare Advantage plans, reported September 16, 2026. Medicare Advantage is the private-insurer alternative to traditional government Medicare. The seller is Walmart Insurance Services LLC, a licensed insurance agency. I think results will hinge less on enrollment than on doctor networks, service, and use of extra benefits.
