Walmart to Help Sell Private Medicare Plans

Walmart and nonprofit insurer SCAN Health Plan will sell Medicare Advantage together, reported September 16, 2026. That is private coverage that replaces standard government Medicare. Sales go through Walmart Insurance Services LLC, a licensed insurance seller. I think success depends less on sign-ups than on which doctors are covered, customer help, and whether extra benefits get used.
