EPA Analysis Sees Slightly Higher Power Prices in 2030 After Rule Repeal

The EPA's own cost review finds U.S. household electricity prices would be 0.7% higher in 2030 under its Sept. 14 partial repeal of 2024 power-plant carbon limits. Administrator Lee Zeldin said the repeal would lower prices. The agency says savings would not appear until the mid-2030s.
