EPA's Own Analysis Projects Higher 2030 Electricity Prices After Rollback

The EPA's Regulatory Impact Analysis projects U.S. retail electricity prices will be 0.7% higher in 2030 under its Sept. 14 partial repeal of 2024 power-plant carbon standards. Administrator Lee Zeldin said the rollback would lower prices. The agency says prices won't drop until the mid-2030s.
