Canada to Start Talks on New EU Security and Economic Pact

Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada will open talks next month with the EU on a 'unique security and economic alliance.' Speaking at the inaugural Canada Investment Summit, he said Canada is not seeking EU membership. Canada is already the only non-European member of Europe's joint defence-buying program.
