Canada Wants Closer Partnership With Europe

Canada will start talks next month with the European Union on a special partnership covering security and trade. Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the plan at Canada's first investment summit. He said Canada will not become an EU member. Canada is already the only country outside Europe allowed in Europe's group for buying military equipment together.
