ACT proposes $14.37 training wage for under-20s

ACT has proposed a $14.37 hourly training wage for under-20s in their first 12 months with any employer, RNZ reports. That compares with the current $19.16 starting-out rate. Council of Trade Unions president Sandra Grey called it 'unconscionable' and 'nowhere near enough to live on.'
