Two Army Officers on Trial Over Handling of Jaysley Beck Report

On 15 September, a military court heard prosecutors say Col. Samantha Shepherd and Maj. James Hook mishandled a 2021 sexual assault complaint by 19-year-old Gunner Jaysley Beck against a senior warrant officer, before Beck took her own life. Both deny charges of conduct harming order and discipline.
