Plan for £100,000 yearly cap on donations from voters abroad

Ministers said they plan to limit donations from Britons living overseas to £100,000 per person each year. Steve Reed said on 25 March the limit would backdate to that day. The BBC said 25 March was when Philip Rycroft's review was published, and the cap was its first recommendation. There is currently no limit for donors on the electoral register.
