Sweden's Close Election Leaves Government Up for Grabs

Both Magdalena Andersson of the Social Democrats and outgoing Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson say they will try to build coalitions — alliances of parties — to govern after Sweden's 13 September vote. With 95% counted, the centre-left holds 176 seats to 173 in the 349-seat parliament. Final tally due this weekend; parliament meets 28 September.
