
Andersson and Kristersson both bid to form Swedish government after close election
Social Democrat leader Magdalena Andersson and outgoing Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson both said they will explore coalitions to secure power after the 13 September election. With 95% counted, the centre-left leads 176 seats to 173 in the 349-seat parliament. Final results are expected at the weekend, with parliament convening 28 September.
