
Automattic Board Gone After Failing to Remove CEO Mullenweg
Automattic founder Matt Mullenweg is back as chairman and CEO after a failed board effort to sideline him, sources told TechCrunch Sept. 14. The board voted to place Mullenweg on paid leave. Director Toni Schneider then resigned, while Sue Decker and Ann Dunwoody were removed by Mullenweg. No reason for the leave vote was given.
