
Head of Automattic Stays in Charge After Board Tries to Remove Him
Matt Mullenweg is back as the top leader of Automattic, sources told TechCrunch Sept. 14. The small group that oversees the company had voted to put the founder on paid time off. Board member Toni Schneider then quit, while Sue Decker and Ann Dunwoody were removed by Mullenweg. No reason for the leave vote was given.
