Melbourne suburbs see iridescent rainbow clouds

Onlookers in Mount Waverley and Caroline Springs, suburbs of Melbourne, photographed iridescent rainbow clouds over parts of Victoria this weekend. The colours form when light bends, or diffracts, around ice crystals in high cirrus clouds.
