Rainbow clouds appear over Melbourne

People in Mount Waverley and Caroline Springs, suburbs of Melbourne, photographed rainbow-coloured clouds over parts of Victoria this weekend. The colours happen when sunlight passes through tiny bits of ice in high, thin clouds, spreading light like oil on water.
