Brent jumps 6.3% to $107.63 as U.S. crude tops $100

Brent crude futures settled at $107.63 a barrel, up $6.42, or 6.34%, Reuters reported Sept. 11. U.S. crude topped $100 for the first time since May. If this holds, I expect pump prices to follow, lifting inflation — the pace of price rises — and pressure on household budgets and borrowing costs.
