Brent settles at $107.63, up 6.3% as U.S. crude tops $100
Brent crude futures settled at $107.63 a barrel, up $6.42 or 6.34%, Reuters reported Sept. 11. U.S. crude topped $100 for first time since May. I expect pump prices to follow if this holds, lifting inflation — the pace of price rises — and pressure on household budgets and borrowing costs.
