Malaysian Teen Cleared of Murder Over Mental Illness

A Malaysian court cleared a teenage boy of murdering 16-year-old Yap Shing Xuen, finding he was mentally unsound during the stabbing in a school toilet outside Kuala Lumpur. His lawyers did not deny he did it at age 14. A psychiatrist testified he has schizophrenia, a condition causing delusions, since age nine.
