White Horse Reservoir Cost Put at £5.5bn-£7.5bn, Paid Via Bills Over 100 Years

Thames Water says its planned White Horse reservoir near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, will cost £5.5bn-£7.5bn, up from £2.2bn. Customers of Thames Water, Affinity Water and Southern Water would pay via bills over 100 years. The 150bn-litre reservoir is meant to help cover a projected gap of over 2bn litres a day by 2055.
