
Iran, Iraq and Gulf States to Negotiate Hormuz Shipping Rules Sept. 14
Senior officials from Iran, Iraq and Gulf Arab states will meet in Salalah, Oman on Sept. 14 to set temporary rules for commercial ships using the Strait of Hormuz, Iran announced Sept. 12. The goal is to calm tensions and reopen the waterway. Missile and enforcement disagreements would still remain even if traffic resumes.
