
Iran, Iraq and Neighbors to Talk About Reopening Shipping Route
Senior officials from Iran, Iraq and Gulf Arab states will meet in Salalah, Oman on Sept. 14 to agree on short-term traffic rules for trade ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway, Iran said Sept. 12. The aim is to reduce tensions and reopen it. Arguments over missiles and policing the rules would still remain.
