Swedes are voting today, 13 September 2026, in a parliamentary election — to choose parliament — that could bring the far-right Sweden Democrats into government for the first time. The country's second-largest party has been promised cabinet jobs if the right-wing bloc stays in power. A record 3.6 million voted early, with exit polls expected at 8pm.
