Vanuatu Ferry Sinks: One Dead, More Than 30 Missing

The ferry MV Matui sank in rough weather between Ambae and Santo islands in northern Vanuatu, Prime Minister Jotham Napat's office said. One person is confirmed dead, more than 30 are missing, and 15 passengers and crew are confirmed alive. Search-and-rescue operations were still underway on September 13.
