Passenger Boat Sinks in Vanuatu, One Dead and More Than 30 Missing

A passenger boat, the MV Matui, sank in stormy weather while traveling between two islands, Ambae and Santo, in northern Vanuatu, Prime Minister Jotham Napat's office said. One person died, more than 30 are missing, and 15 people on board are known to be alive. Crews were still searching for survivors on September 13.
