Laika standardizes breather diaphragm for Wildwood puppets

All major Wildwood puppets contain a built-in breather, a small diaphragm that gently cycles to simulate breathing on camera, animation head Brad Schiff said at a TIFF session on the film. Laika first tested the system on 2019's Missing Link and standardized it for Wildwood, its Portland-set fantasy from the studio behind Kubo and the Two Strings.
